Excavating Ancient Nubia Opening Lecture, funded by the Docent Lecture Endowment

Join Nubiologists Caroline Rocheleau (NCMA) and Geoff Emberling (Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, Ann Arbor, MI) as they chat about their work at different sites in Sudan. Discover what led them to Nubia, learn about their excavations and discoveries, and hear how they engage with the local community. A reception will take place from 11 am to noon prior to the start of the lecture.
